Privacy for the evaluation workspace

Scope

This notice describes the local ConnectDent evaluation supplied by Lab2Dent Solutions Inc. Use sample case details and example files only. The demonstration is not a patient-record system.

Where records are saved

Example orders, attachments, messages, costs, feedback and planning estimates are saved in this browser’s local storage. They are not sent to Lab2Dent or another clinic or laboratory. Anyone who can access this browser profile may be able to read them.

Exports and backups

You can download a case record, a report, feedback records or a full workspace backup. Downloaded files remain wherever your browser saves them. A full backup includes the attached test-file bytes. Keep copies only as long as needed for the evaluation.

Deletion

Use Workspace & backup to reset the local records, or clear this site’s browser storage. Reset removes local additions and reinstates the sample demonstration cases. It does not remove downloaded exports; delete those separately if no longer needed.

Before a live pilot

A live service requires agreed privacy responsibilities, authorised data access, suitable hosting, access controls, retention and incident procedures. This notice does not authorise real patient-data collection.

Local prototype entry details

The prototype requires a full name, email address, organisation and role before entry, including direct links. These details stay in sessionStorage in that browser tab and are not sent to the company. The email address is not verified. Reloading retains the visitor session; End visitor session clears the entry details and returns to the form. Closing the tab normally ends that browser session. This is a local entry form, not secure authentication, a centrally collected lead or marketing consent. Case/demo records use separate local storage and are not deleted by ending the visitor session.
