Attach file identity to a particular revision

A familiar filename does not establish that two reviewers saw the same file. A replacement file can carry different bytes while retaining the same name.

Follow the record

In CD-1049, download the example attachment, then accept the instruction as Laboratory. Inspect the accepted file manifest: it records identifier, revision and digest. Adding a file to accepted work requires a new clinic instruction revision and renewed review. Full recovery backups retain the permitted test-file bytes.

Interpret the result

Compare downloaded contents and digests, not just filenames or a success message. A digest supports file identity. It does not establish clinical suitability, authorship or permission to disclose the material.
