A resolved finding needs a response and a retest

A Resolved label alone does not explain whether a defect was corrected, an interface changed or a limitation accepted. The reasoning must remain retrievable.

Follow the record

Inspect the three sample feedback examples. Reopen the resolved finding, assign a responsible owner and record a response. Export its history to Excel. Link a new finding to the case and revision where the issue occurred, keeping actual observations separate from the preloaded examples.

Interpret the result

A useful closure identifies the triggering task, decision, change and retest outcome. If the issue recurs, append the new evidence rather than erasing the first resolution. The application record does not authenticate the claimed external observation.
