Make missing information recoverable at intake

An incomplete draft should remain useful preparation, without appearing to be a complete request. Named fields help a receiving person identify missing particulars instead of guessing from an informal message.

Follow the record

Use sample case CD-1048. Try submitting its incomplete instruction, read the field-specific errors, supply the missing tooth, shade and requested date, then submit the revised version. Confirm that the earlier draft and reason for revision remain available.

Interpret the result

Observe whether the user can recover without abandoning the form or entering invented answers simply to clear an error. Urgent priority must not bypass completeness or laboratory review. Application-required fields are administrative checks, not a professional determination that the prescription is sufficient.
