Compare the same task in the current process

Comparing a measured prototype task with a vague description of the old process creates an unreliable impression of improvement. The starting information and required outcome need to match.

Follow the record

Define the sample case, change event, available records and correct answer before either attempt. For a changed instruction, ask both workflows to identify the current request, accepted version and next owner. Record assistance and failed attempts rather than discarding them. Separate active work from waiting.

Interpret the result

A small qualitative sample can reveal a confusing step or missing record. It cannot support a universal percentage saving. Preserve the task, build identifier and observation so another reviewer can understand the actual comparison.
