Readable reports and recovery backups have different jobs
A spreadsheet can make a case easy to review without preserving every byte or internal relationship required to restore the workspace. A recovery file needs a different completeness test.
Follow the record
Export ordinary case, feedback and research records to Excel. Print case reports to PDF for review. Keep the full JSON workspace backup for recovery, then test restoration in a fresh local context. Verify cases, acceptance, research notes and attachment downloads after restoration.
Interpret the result
Do not rename JSON as an Excel file or assume a screenshot is a backup. A successful local restore establishes the tested local path, not shared-user synchronization, server resilience or a production backup policy.
